Have you ever wished for the freshness of your younger self and all the wisdom of your present self?
What is Facial Restoration?
Facial Restoration is a process of restoring your youthful glow, spirit, and health. Much of what we think of as ‘aging’ is actually optional – a sign of dysfunction somewhere in the body. If you treat the dysfunction, you can reclaim your youthful beauty.
Aging is the cumulative effect of stress, diet, disease, and fatigue. Dysfunction takes its toll on the health of the entire body, but it’s easiest to see it on the face. Spotted, dull complexion, puffiness and heavy skin, enlarged pores and lines, can all be signs of systemic dysfunction that show on the face as premature aging.
How We Do Facial Restoration
Facial restoration at The Better Place is a process of treating both “branch and root”: treating the undesirable signs of aging and dysfunction on the face (branch) while addressing the deeper systemic issues which caused the signs of dysfunction (root).
We create dramatic change by using simple tools and advanced understanding of the signs of aging. This is different from ‘rejuvenation’, where the treatment only reaches the superficial skin layers. It’s different than using filler or toxins to create unrealistic and harmful changes to your face. Facial Restoration creates lasting change by treating both root and branch of your aging issues using sustainable, non invasive techniques.
Each appointment varies depending on your needs and the expertise of your practitioner. They may use myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, acupuncture, guasha, cupping, deep plane intraoral massage, Celluma LED light therapy, and percussive therapies. The only topical product we use is a natural, neutral, non-comedogenic facial oil.
We recommend a series of 5 weekly sessions, where you’ll also be educated in the signs of avoidable aging in your own face and how to address them at home. This series will jump start your own healing and understanding of the deeper connections between health and beauty.
Because nothing is more powerful than reclaiming your own beauty.
